Policy in the Fields of Occupational, Industrial and Environmental Safety

Gaz Service Consulting Limited Liability Company (GSC LLC) provides complex services for enterprises of the petrochemical and oil and gas industries as well as companies in the energy sector, including engineering support for enterprises in the field of carbon footprint reduction, projects aimed at the construction of plants for the production of carbon dioxide, biomethane, liquefied natural gas, environmentally friendly «green» methanol, ammonia and hydrogen, complex supplies of equipment and performing maintenance work in the sectors of production, transportation and processing of hydrocarbons, chemistry and petrochemistry.

GSC LLC is aware of the nature and extent of the impact of its activities, products and services on employees. It understands its responsibility for ensuring trouble-free operation at customers’ production facilities, ensuring safe working conditions for employees, preventing industrial accidents and occupational diseases and reducing the level of exposure (elimination of exposure) of workers to harmful and (or) dangerous production factors and levels of occupational risks.

Taking care of the environment is an integral part of the corporate culture of GSC LLC and ensures its sustainable development. To prevent possible negative impacts, the Company undertakes obligations and takes all necessary actions to ensure environmental protection, conservation and restoration of natural resources, including constantly improving products, processes and working conditions for the Company’s employees and partners.

  • Ensuring a level of industrial safety at which the risk of accidents is minimal
  • Improvement of industrial safety management procedures and systems that ensure timely solution of important tasks of occupational, industrial and environmental safety
  • Compliance with the specifics of the economic activity and organization of work of GSC LLC as well as the specifics of professional risks and the possibilities of occupational safety management
  • Obligations of the employer to eliminate hazards and reduce occupational risks in the workplace
  • Commitment to improving the occupational health and safety management system
  • Creating and maintaining a positive image of the organization, including the absence of external complaints and reclamations as well as publications in the media

Key Principles and Objectives of the Company in the Fields of Occupational, Industrial and Environmental Safety

This Policy includes the following key principles and objectives, the fulfillment of which the Company undertakes:

  • Ensuring the safety and health of all employees of the organization by preventing accidents and occupational diseases at work, striving for zero injuries, excluding emergencies and accidents as well as preventing the occurrence of occupational diseases
  • Compliance with regulatory legal acts and programs on occupational, industrial and environmental safety
  • Obligations to consult with employees and their representatives and to involve them in active participation in all elements of the occupational and industrial safety and environmental management system
  • Continuous improvement of the functioning of the enterprise management system

To achieve these objectives, the Company undertakes the following obligations:

  • Provide healthy and safe working conditions for employees that meet or exceed the established requirements of occupational safety and health, while taking into account the individual characteristics of employees and the work performed
  • Comply with the requirements of federal legislation applicable to the Company’s activities and regulatory requirements in the field of occupational, health, industrial and environmental safety
  • Take measures to prevent occupational injuries and occupational diseases and reduce the negative impact on the environment
  • Carry out rational environmental management
  • Consult with employees and consider any reasonable initiatives and proposals of employees of any level on issues of industrial safety, labor protection and the environment
  • Continuously improve the management system and indicators in the field of industrial safety, labor protection and the environment as well as analyze the effectiveness of the enterprise management system
  • Assess all possible risks at employees’ workplaces, taking into account the specifics and types of production and the nature of the risk, in order to identify possible and real hazards as well as to ensure risk management in accordance with approved procedures at the enterprise
  • Organize work on the prevention of injuries, traumatic situations and deterioration of the health of employees
  • Develop and implement action plans and targeted programs to minimize and possibly eliminate risks, threats of accidents, emergencies, injuries and morbidity of personnel and improve the health of employees
  • Ensure the availability of reliable information on the state of labor conditions and safety
  • Increase the level of responsibility and ensure the involvement of every employee, regardless of their profession or position, in compliance with duties in the field of occupational health and safety, through the necessary resources and encouragement of such participation
  • Develop, implement and ensure the use of safe methods and techniques for performing work
  • Maintain a high level and continuously improve the training of employees in the field of security through the organization of high-quality education
  • Increase the level of safety and working conditions by ensuring trouble-free operation of equipment, the introduction of new technologies and the use of modern means of collective and individual protection as well as the use of the best available technologies
